1 Day Blue Mountains Sunset and Wilderness Tour
Avoid the crowds on this relaxed exploration of the Blue Mountains! Explore the changing moods of the Blue Mountains in the late afternoon sunlight and capture the sunset over the rugged ranges and valleys. This tour is designed to avoid the peak hour traffic of Sydney with later departures and returns to maximise our time enjoying the stunning scenery and native forests. Highlights • Late morning tour departure - Avoid the crowds! • Capture a stunning sunset from our favourite vantage points • Twilight magic and mystery in Blue Mountains • Iconic Three Sisters rock formation • Guided bushwalks and spectacular waterfalls • Amazing Lookout Views across Jamison Valley • Australian wildlife sightings with a late morning departure, you will have extra time to explore Sydney before joining this tour to one of the world's most spectacular World Heritage-listed national parks. Located 50 kilometres from Sydney CBD, the Blue Mountains is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, and rich in Aboriginal heritage. A rugged mountain range of unique sandstone formations and steep cliffs, the Blue Mountains is known for its dramatic landscape. Surrounded by giant eucalyptus trees which creates a blue haze that lives up to its name. After a delightful picnic lunch, we’ll continue to explore the amazing Jamison Valley. Get up close to the storied sandstone formation, the iconic Three Sisters. Hike along some impressive bush trails toward one of the most breathtaking waterfalls in New South Wales then settle in to watch the sun sink behind the distant mountains casting shadows over the rock formations and eucalyptus forests. On the journey home, take a quick break to grab some dinner (own expense) before we go kangaroo spotting! Many of Australia’s native animals are much more active in the dusk hours and we’ll explore some of the secret spots where we are most likely to find wildlife.
Hunter Valley Scenic Wine and Dine Tour with Lunch - Full-Day Tour
Leave the hustle and bustle of Sydney behind, and head out over the famous Harbour Bridge north toward the luscious fertile lands of the Hunter Valley, one of the most famous wine-growing regions in Australia. This unique exploration of the Hunter Valley region provides a variety of food and wine experiences to showcase the best of the regions local produce. Famous for its Semillon, the region also produces more than 20 varieties of wine including Shiraz, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Verdelho. Sample a range of wines from our favourite boutique cellar doors, selected for their commitment to excellent customer experience and quality wine - with two tastings before lunch and one in the afternoon. At lunchtime, enjoy a delicious cafe lunch in the picturesque Hunter Valley Garden Village. Alternating between the lovely "The Winner is Oscars" and the beautiful "Cypress Lakes Country Club", there is plenty of time to relax and get to know your fellow travellers. After eating take a relaxing stroll and visit some of the bespoke collection of boutique shops, galleries and sample more of the local produce in the area, such as the Hunter Valley Chocolate Company, The British Lolly Shop, Kissofire Hunter Valley Liqueurs or The Garden Cellars After a relaxing day in the countryside, head back to Sydney with memories that are sure to last a lifetime!
