Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Rome
Welcome to Rome. Enjoy free time to settle in before meeting your Trafalgar Travel Director and fellow travellers for a welcome dinner.

Day 2: Rome
Join a Local Specialist for sightseeing through ancient Rome, including views of the Colosseum and Circus Maximus. The afternoon is free to explore at your own pace.

Day 3: Rome – Siena – Florence
Travel through the Tuscan hills to medieval Siena, then continue to Florence. This evening, enjoy a special Be My Guest dining experience at a Tuscan villa.

Day 4: Florence
Discover Renaissance Florence on a guided walking tour. View the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio and a replica of Michelangelo’s David, with free time to explore.

Day 5: Florence – Pisa – Venice
Visit Pisa’s Square of Miracles to see the Leaning Tower and Baptistery, then travel across the Apennine hills to Venice.

Day 6: Venice
Experience a traditional Venetian glassblowing demonstration, then see highlights including the Doge’s Palace, Bridge of Sighs, St. Mark’s Basilica and the Campanile.

Day 7: Venice – Lucerne
Journey through the Italian Lake District and alpine landscapes into Switzerland, arriving in the medieval lakeside city of Lucerne.

Day 8: Lucerne
See Lucerne’s Lion Monument and Chapel Bridge, then enjoy free time to wander the Old Town or join an optional mountain experience.

Day 9: Lucerne – Paris
Cross into France and travel through the vineyard-clad hills of Burgundy before arriving in Paris for a celebratory dinner.

Day 10: Paris

Day 11: Paris
