Cruise Itinerary:
Day 1: Depart Hobart
Arrive at Princes Wharf 1 for boarding at 4:00pm, with time to settle into your stateroom before your 5:00pm departure. Take the time to become acquainted with all the facilities onboard before meeting your fellow travellers, the Captain and crew for the Captain’s Welcome Drinks.
Maria Island
Step ashore at Maria Island National Park to visit Darlington historic settlement. Hike to the Fossil Cliffs and Painted Cliffs, keeping an eye out for Forester kangaroos, Bennetts wallabies, and wombats among dramatic sandstone formations. At Freycinet, marvel at pink granite peaks of the Hazards and join a guided walk to Wineglass Bay’s pristine beach. Watch fur seals sunning themselves while surrounded by eucalyptus-lined bays and sweeping coastal scenery.
Flinders Island
Explore the rugged beauty of Flinders Island in Strzelecki National Park. Walk to Trousers Point - great short walk. In town, visit the Furneaux Museum and explore remnants of Wybalenna Settlement and maritime heritage.
Kent Island Group
Weather permitting, visit the remote Kent Group National Park. Explore Deal Island’s historic lighthouse, swim and kayak in crystal-clear waters, and discover a marine ecosystem once connected to the mainland as a land bridge.
Tamar River & Launceston
Cruise along the scenic Tamar River towards Launceston, Tasmania’s City of Gastronomy. Enjoy riverside architecture, scenic reserves, and historic estates. In the afternoon, enjoy free time in Launceston.
Stanley
Visit coastal Stanley to explore The Nut, a towering volcanic plug. Ascend by chairlift or hike for unforgettable views, then stroll through Highfield Historic Site to uncover local heritage.
King Island
Arrive at King Island, famed for its maritime history, over 140 shipwrecks lie off its shores. Discover its rich agricultural traditions, enjoying stories of renowned beef and cheese production.
Please note: In 2027, King Island will be replaced with either Port Davey or the D’Entrecasteaux Channel, depending on weather conditions.
West Coast Cruising
Cruise along Tasmania’s untamed west coast, where ancient mountain ranges, dense rainforests, and wild rivers meet the Southern Ocean in dramatic and pristine beauty.
Port Davey
Spend two immersive days in Port Davey and Bathurst Harbour. Kayak through Bramble Cove, hike Mount Milner or Mount Beattie, explore the remote museum at Melaleuca where you may spot an orange-bellied parrot, and sail past Maatsuyker Island’s southernmost lighthouse.
Bruny Island
Discover Fluted Cape’s sea cliffs at Bruny Island, learn of Adventure Bay’s whaling past, and stroll historic sites en route to Grass Point.
Tasman Peninsula
Cruise past the Tasman Peninsula's soaring sea cliffs and hike to Cape Hauy from Fortescue Bay. Later, enjoy a gourmet dinner hosted by farmer Matt Dunbabin at Bangor Vineyard.
Port Arthur
Step ashore at Port Arthur, Tasmania’s UNESCO-listed penal site, to walk among convict-era ruins and learn Australia’s colonial history.
Day 15: Arrive Hobart
This morning, disembark in Hobart at 8:00am. Complimentary transfers to the CBD or airport are included for your onward journey.
