Rio de Janeiro - Iguassu Falls - Buenos Aires
Day 1: Arrive in Rio de Janeiro
Arrive in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil’s famous coastal city known for its beaches, mountain scenery and vibrant energy. Check in to your hotel and enjoy time at leisure.
Day 2: Rio de Janeiro
Enjoy private guided sightseeing through the Cosme Velho district before boarding a cog-wheel train through Tijuca Forest to the summit of Corcovado Mountain. Take in sweeping city and coastline views from the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue.
Day 3: Rio de Janeiro
Spend the day at leisure to explore Rio your way. Relax by the beach, discover local neighbourhoods or choose an optional experience such as Sugar Loaf Mountain or a Brazilian churrascaria dinner.
Day 4: Rio de Janeiro - Iguassu Falls
Fly to Iguassu Falls, one of South America’s most spectacular natural wonders. On arrival, enjoy a private guided visit to the Brazilian side, where walkways lead into the mist and roar of Devil’s Throat Canyon.
Day 5: Iguassu Falls
Cross the border into Argentina for a private guided tour of the Argentine side of Iguassu Falls. Ride the open-air Ecological Jungle Train through rainforest and follow boardwalks above the falls for incredible views into Devil’s Throat.
Day 6: Iguassu Falls - Buenos Aires
Fly to Buenos Aires, Argentina’s elegant capital. After transferring to your hotel, enjoy time to settle in and discover the city’s wide boulevards, European-style architecture and café culture.
Day 7: Buenos Aires
Take a private guided city tour featuring Teatro Colón, Avenida de Mayo, Plaza de Mayo and the Metropolitan Cathedral. Continue through San Telmo, colourful La Boca, Palermo and Recoleta Cemetery, one of the city’s most famous landmarks.
Day 8: Buenos Aires
Enjoy a day at leisure in Buenos Aires. Choose to explore the city’s museums, cruise the Tigre Delta, visit a traditional estancia or enjoy an optional dinner and tango show.
Day 9: Buenos Aires
Your Globus tour ends after breakfast. Continue seamlessly into the Seabourn Great White Continent Cruise and Land Tour.
Cruise Itinerary: Seabourn The Great White Continent Cruise
The Seabourn program begins on 19 January 2027 with an overnight land stay in Buenos Aires before guests fly by charter to Ushuaia to board Seabourn Venture. The cruise then sails across the Southern Ocean for five expedition days in Antarctica before returning to Ushuaia, followed by a charter flight back to Buenos Aires.
