Marseille
France's second largest city and largest port offers gorgeous coastline, the Provence sun and cosmopolitan charm. Remnants of its decorated 2,600-year history include a 19th-century basilica and cathedral and the Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde church. The city has several museums, including the Archaeology and Fine Arts museums.

Ajaccio
This French city, known for its fine Corsican cuisine and its array of cafes, is the birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte. Partake in the city's adulation of him and visit The Napoleon Museum and his birthplace, The Bonaparte Museum. The Museum Fesch houses one of the most important collections of Italian paintings in France.

Genoa
The capital of the Liguria province and the birthplace of Christopher Columbus lies on the northeastern coast of Italy. Once a powerful maritime state, it is now is a seaside resort that lay claim to fine 16th century palaces.

La Spezia
The northern Italian port city of La Spezia, on the border of Liguria and Tuscany, offers an ideal gateway to two of the countrys most famous cities: Pisa and Florence. Just one hour by car or train will bring you to Pisa, where you can check out the white-stone arches of the citys famous leaning tower and its sister-structure, the Pisa Cathedral.

Civitavecchia (Rome)
The "Eternal City", with its 2,700 years of ancient history, is simply incomparable. Its formidable legacy is rooted in a plethora of masterpieces, including The Sistine Chapel, the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain, The Roman Forum, the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps, St. Peter's Basilica and Piazza Novana.

Naples

Souda Bay
Souda Bay is a bay and natural harbour near the town of Souda on the northwest coast of the Greek island of Crete. The bay is about 15 km long and only two to four km wide, and a deep natural harbour. It is formed between the Akrotiri peninsula and Cape Drapano, and runs west to east

Other historical masterpieces include the Great Amphitheatre, where St. Paul addressed the Ephesians, the Selcuk castle, and the tombs of the Seven Sleepers.

Mykonos
Nestled in the heart of Greece's Cyclades archipelago, Mykonos pulses with irrepressible energy. With its powder white houses, sparkling blue waters, and red-hot nightlife, The Island of the Winds is as colorful as the people who call the island home.

Athens (Port of Piraeus)
Greece's capital and its largest city was born atop the Acropolis, where ancient warrior-kings once dwelled. These ruins are a testament to the golden age of Greece, and the Parthenon is considered the most architecturally sophisticated temples of its time. Ancient Agora, a sprawling array of stones, slabs and foundations, was once the focal point of ancient Greek life.
