Buddhist Blessing Ceremony
Take part in a traditional Buddhist blessing ceremony for good luck, health and safe journey, with resident monks at a monastery in Oudong.

Sunrise at Angkor Wat
Visit Angkor Archaeological Park to witness a spectacular sunrise at the magnificent Angkor Wat. Observe the iconic temple complex shimmer in the reflective ponds in front of this World Heritage-listed monument, while brilliant shades of orange and pink light up the sky.

Tuk Tuk Tour of Koh Pen
Journey by local tuk tuk around a riverside village and gain an insight of village life. Travel along the shaded lanes, past stilted houses and see a varying range of crops growing.

Gallery Visit with Khmer Dinner and Apsara Performance
Be treated to a private visit to Theam's Gallery and discover this talented Cambodian artist, known for his unique sculptures, paintings, and intricate crafts. Indulge in a five-course Khmer dinner, while enjoying a traditional Apsara dance performance accompanied by live musicians.

VIP Circus Show
Witness a mesmerising performance from your VIP seats at Phare Circus in Siem Reap. Combining captivating acrobatics, theatre and storytelling, this unforgettable spectacle showcases the country's rich culture and talent.

Itinerary highlights

Day 1 – Ho Chi Minh City, My Tho & Cai Be
Enjoy VIP Fast Track Service on arrival in Ho Chi Minh City before travelling to My Tho to board Mekong Serenity. Set sail towards Cai Be and enjoy a Vietnamese welcome dinner on board.

Day 2 – Cai Be, Sa Dec & Tan Chau
Explore Cai Be by traditional sampan, visiting its French Gothic church and local rice paper and coconut candy workshops. Continue to Sa Dec to discover its colourful market, the former home of Huynh Thuy Le and a traditional Cao Dai temple.

Day 3 – Tan Chau, Evergreen Island & Phnom Penh
Cruise Tan Chau’s tiny tributaries before exploring by rickshaw and visiting a local rattan weaving workshop. Experience rural Mekong life on Evergreen Island, then cruise towards the Cambodian border and Phnom Penh.

Day 4 – Phnom Penh
Choose your own exploration of Cambodia’s capital, from the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda or National Museum to a cyclo ride through the city. Alternatively, learn about Cambodia’s confronting history at the Killing Fields and Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum.

Day 5 – Phnom Penh, Oudong, Koh Chen & Oknha Tey
Journey to the former royal capital of Oudong for a traditional Buddhist blessing ceremony with resident monks. Visit Koh Chen’s copperware workshops before cruising to Oknha Tey to discover its traditional silk-weaving heritage.

Day 6 – Oknha Tey, Angkor Ban & Wat Hanchey
Discover historic Angkor Ban on foot, where traditional wooden homes and ancient cultural traditions remain part of everyday life. Spend the afternoon cruising upstream towards Wat Hanchey.

Day 7 – Wat Hanchey, Kampong Cham & Koh Pen
Walk to Wat Hanchey’s hilltop pagoda for expansive Mekong views before exploring the riverside village of Koh Pen by tuk tuk, passing stilted houses and local farmland. Celebrate your final evening aboard with a farewell dinner.

Day 8 – Kampong Cham & Siem Reap
Disembark in Kampong Cham and journey through the Cambodian countryside to Siem Reap. Visit local charity ODA before taking VIP seats for a spectacular circus performance combining acrobatics, theatre and storytelling.

Day 9 – Siem Reap & Angkor Wat
Witness a spectacular sunrise over Angkor Wat before exploring the iconic temple complex. Continue to Angkor Thom, Bayon, the Terrace of Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King, then discover the jungle-clad Ta Prohm temple.

Day 10 – Siem Reap
Choose from a range of experiences including a Khmer cooking class, quad bike adventure, tuk tuk ride, traditional massage or cultural tours. In the evening, visit Theam’s Gallery before a five-course Khmer dinner accompanied by a traditional Apsara dance performance and live musicians.

Day 11 – Depart Siem Reap
After breakfast, transfer to Siem Reap–Angkor International Airport for your onward journey.
