Lautoka, Fiji

Known as Sugar City, Lautoka is framed by the Pacific Ocean to the west and sugar cane fields and rolling pine forest to the east. The day wouldn't be complete without discovering Fiji's world-famous beaches and browsing for handcrafted goods at local markets and boutiques. Don't miss the opportunity to view the magnificent orchids and beautiful landscape at the Garden of the Sleeping Giant. Or go wild in Koroyanitu National Heritage Park. It's easy to find your slice of paradise in Lautoka.

Denarau, Fiji

Friendly, beautiful and full of surprises, the island of Denarau is nothing short of spectacular with its stunning resorts, powdery white-sand beaches and gorgeous scenery. Play golf at the famous Denarau Golf Course. Dine on fine, traditional Fijian dishes, be pampered at a luxurious retreat, explore the rich and diverse culture in Nadi or snorkel beneath the sparkling turquoise waters teeming with colourful marine life. Be mesmerized by this incredibly beautiful and restorative slice of paradise and return on board recharged and ready for more.

Savusavu, Fiji

There are not many places in the world where you can tour waterfalls. This is one of the best! The town is only a 5 to 10 minute walk from the port and the way there, is filled with small shops selling local wares that keep the stroll amusing. Tour the port or head straight inland and find magical waterfalls like the Vuadomo or Nakawaga, which you can swim in! Head to Vuadomo Village, just down the hill from the falls. The locals will gladly tour you around and show you how they live in exchange for tips. Take a taxi to hot springs and thermal pools or treat the group to local flavours at the Savusavu Farmer's Market. Savusavu is a delight from the moment you dock until right before departure.

Dravuni, Fiji

This immaculate island paradise is the best spot for the idyllic South Pacific beach day. Stretch out on the white sands or dive in to snorkel through the Great Astrolabe Reef. If you're looking for the best view on the island, climb up the 131-foot hilltop for an incredible panoramic view. The local village is a great spot to get to know the island's culture and purchase some local wares.

Port Vila, Vanuatu

Start your day in picturesque Vila and shop for local crafts, discover a delicious new dish or explore surrounding blue lagoons and distinct beaches - both white sand and black sand are ideal for a mid-afternoon nap. Or trade the coastline for swimming at Mele Cascades, which are a series of natural pools terraced along a hillside that flow into a magnificent waterfall. Don't miss the chance to learn about Futuna islanders' traditions with a visit to a cultural centre.

Mystery Island, Vanuatu

Mystery Island can't keep its secrets for long. This tiny paradise off the coast of Vanuatu's Aneityum island can be completely explored in as little as 40 minutes. The beautiful clear blue waters off the coast are perfect for snorkelling or kayaking. The marketplace provides a great opportunity to stock up on homemade coconut oil, kava, and other local artifacts. The surrounding waters are a protected marine sanctuary, so they provide the perfect opportunity to experience untouched wildlife.

Brisbane, Australia

Australia's third largest city and the capital of Queensland, this modern, vibrant city offers plenty to see and do. Lush mountains backing the city offer breathtaking views. Nearby, stunning forests and wineries await. The South Bank of the Brisbane River offers a diverse mix of parklands, cafés, boutiques, museums and galleries to explore. Or visit the markets downtown and in Chinatown where you can practice you chopstick technique.

Newcastle, Australia

Newcastle is a laid-back coastal city known for its beautiful beaches, harbour views and varied natural landscapes, from rainforests to wetlands and sand dunes. Visit Fort Scratchley for sweeping coastal views and a glimpse into the city’s naval and mining history, then enjoy the famous ocean baths, browse local boutiques or unwind with classic fish and chips by the sea.
