Itinerary Highlights
Day 1 – Siem Reap, Cambodia
Begin your journey in Siem Reap before travelling by motorcoach to Kampong Cham to board your Mekong river ship. Settle in on board and meet fellow travellers over a welcome dinner.
Day 2 – Angkor Ban, Cambodia
Discover the timeless charm of Angkor Ban, a rare Cambodian village known for its traditional stilted houses and peaceful riverside setting. Later, continue to Silk Island to experience local weaving traditions and village life.
Day 3 – Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Arrive in Phnom Penh and explore the capital’s rich culture and history. Guests can choose from a range of experiences including the Royal Palace, National Museum, Central Market, the Killing Fields and an evening folk dance performance.
Day 4 – Oudong, Cambodia
Visit Oudong, Cambodia’s former royal capital, where the day includes cultural encounters, scenic hilltop views and a Buddhist blessing ceremony. Return to Phnom Penh for a tuk tuk tour through the city’s French colonial streets and landmarks.
Day 5 – Tan Chau, Vietnam
Cruise across the border from Cambodia into Vietnam, enjoying a relaxing day on the Mekong as the scenery shifts from one country to the next. This is a peaceful day of sailing and transition into the Mekong Delta.
Day 6 – Tan Chau, Vietnam
Experience the laid-back charm of Tan Chau with a choice of excursions including trishaw rides, local craft workshops, walking tours and a visit to Tra Su Forest and Bird Sanctuary by sampan.
Day 7 – Sa Dec, Vietnam
Step ashore in Sa Dec to discover local life and cultural heritage along the Mekong. Highlights include lively markets, temples, historic homes and traditional workshops, followed by a farewell dinner on board.
Day 8 – My Tho, Vietnam
Disembark in My Tho and transfer to Ho Chi Minh City, where your Mekong journey comes to an end. Guests are recommended to schedule onward flights from Ho Chi Minh City after 2:30 pm.
