Beginning in Rome, explore the Mediterranean with visits to Trapani, Sicily, followed by Tunis, gateway to the ancient ruins of Carthage and the vibrant souks of Tunisia. After a relaxing day at sea to enjoy the ship, the journey continues to Algiers before sailing to Spain with visits to Cartagena and Granada (Motril), gateway to the Alhambra. The cruise concludes along Spain’s sun-drenched Costa del Sol in Malaga.

Civitavecchia (Rome)
The "Eternal City", with its 2,700 years of ancient history, is simply incomparable. Its formidable legacy is rooted in a plethora of masterpieces, including The Sistine Chapel, the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain, The Roman Forum, the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps, St. Peter's Basilica and Piazza Novana.

Trapani
Trapani is a city in western Sicily with a crescent-shaped coastline. At the western tip, offering views as far as the Aegadian Islands, is the 17th-century Torre di Ligny watchtower. It houses the Museo di Preistoria e del Mare, with archeological artifacts. North of the harbor, the Chiesa del Purgatorio church holds wooden sculptures that are paraded around the city during Easter's Processione dei Misteri.

La Goulette
La Goulette, known in Arabic as Halq al-Wadi, is the port of Tunis, the capital of Tunisia.

Algiers
With its big French-built boulevards and French-style buildings all around the city centre, the historical and traditional neighbourhood along the hillside, the Casbah of Algiers which offers a spectacular panoramic view over the whole city, and a UNESCo world heritage site, it is quite a destination.

Cartagena Spain
This ancient Spanish port is a peaceful, strikingly lovely city off-the-beaten-track. Fortified walls built during the reign of Philip II surround the old quarter of the city, and sheltered cliffs overlook the shimmering Mediterranean Sea.

Motril
Motril is a town and municipality on the Mediterranean coast in the province of Granada, Spain. It is the second largest town in the province, with a population of 60,368 as of 2016. The town is located near the Guadalfeo River and 69 km from Granada.

Malaga
This Spanish coastal town is an important Mediterranean port and capital of the Costa del Sol region. Its Moorish past has left its imprint on the historic centre, particularly around La Alcazaba, a fortress that dates back to 1065. The monumental plaza includes the birthplace of Pablo Picasso, which has been converted into a small museum.
