14 Nights Europe
Description
Itinerary Overview
| Day 1 |
Rotterdam
Rotterdam is a major port city in the Dutch province of South Holland. The Maritime Museum's vintage ships and exhibits trace the city's seafaring history. The 17th-century Delfshaven neighborhood is home to canalside shopping and Pilgrim Fathers Church, where pilgrims worshiped before sailing to America. After being almost completely reconstructed following WWII, the city is now known for bold, modern architecture. |

| Day 3 |
Kalundborg
Kalundborg is a Danish city with a population of 16,370, the main town of the municipality of the same name and the site of its municipal council. It is situated on the northwestern coast of the largest Danish island, Zealand, on the opposite, eastern side of which lies the capital Copenhagen, 110 km away. |

| Day 4 |
Warnemunde/Berlin
Positioned at the mouth of the Warnow River on the Baltic Sea, Wanermunde is hailed as one of Germany's most popular beach resorts. It also functions as the gateway to Berlin, the historic capital of Germany. |
Arrival : 6:00 AM |
| Day 5 | At Sea | |
| Day 6 |
Tallinn
The capital of Estonia is a living museum that houses more complete remnants than most European cities. Winding cobblestone streets and storybook medieval houses accentuate its old town, while the vast, ungodly Lasnamäe apartment district captures the essence of the Soviet reign. |
Arrival : 9:00 AM |
| Day 7 |
Helsinki
The exotic capital of Finland is a consummate city of the sea, built along a series of peninsulas and islands jutting along the Gulf of Finland. Neoclassical schemes of the early 1800's and modernist Finnish styles of the mid 20th century combine to make it a sprawling masterpiece, outfitted with sea-bordered parks, picturesque boulevards and waterside walkways. |
Arrival : 7:00 AM |
| Day 8 |
Stockholm
Experience Stockholm's beauty from the water (as much as Amsterdam and Venice) or the many faces of the city's distinct neighborhoods, stages, museums and parks. The magnificent heights of Söder and Gamla Stan, dating from the Middle Ages, are very different from Djurgården´s fantastic woods and the shopping thoroughfares around Stureplan. Take a walk through the atmospheric back streets of Gamla to admire its 17th century buildings. Visit Mårten charming and narrowTrotzig´s Alley which measures only 35 inches across! |
Arrival : 8:00 AM |
| Day 9 |
Visby
Visby was the main centre of the Hanseatic League of the Baltic from the 12th to 14th centuries. Its 13th-century ramparts and more than 200 warehouses and trading establishments from these periods make it the best-preserved fortified commercial city in Northern Europe. |
Arrival : 8:00 AM |
| Day 10 |
Gdynia
A small fishing village until the 20th century, Gdynia was rapidly built into Poland's largest and busiest sea port after World War I. As a result, it's mainly a very modern city. The most significant older attraction is the 13th-century St. Michael the Archangel Church. Two museum ships in the harbor, a destroyer and a frigate, are also popular with visitors. Gdynia has a thriving cultural life and in September hosts the annual Polish Film Festival, sometimes called the "Polish Cannes." |
Arrival : 8:00 AM |
| Day 11 | At Sea | |
| Day 12 |
Kiel
Ahoy, Kiel! This Olympic city is a hub for international sailing events, including the renowned Kiel Week, held every June since 1882. Originally a Viking settlement, the city has caught up with the times, providing visitors with a plethora of dining, shopping and entertainment options. Meander through lush botanical gardens and marvel at the historic ships bobbing gently in the harbor. |
Arrival : 8:00 AM |
| Day 13 |
Copenhagen
The largest city in Scandinavia, built on two islands, is a cozy metropolis that is often referred to as the "Paris of the North." Its winding streets, timbered houses and 12th-century castles evoke Copenhagen's past. Copenhagen is especially known for cafe culture and thrilling nightlife. |
