Itinerary Overview
Day 1 Civitavecchia (Rome)

The "Eternal City", with its 2,700 years of ancient history, is simply incomparable. Its formidable legacy is rooted in a plethora of masterpieces, including The Sistine Chapel, the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain, The Roman Forum, the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps, St. Peter's Basilica and Piazza Novana.

Day 2 Salerno

Salerno is a port city southeast of Naples, in Italy. Atop Monte Bonadies, the centuries-old Arechi Castle has sea views, plus Museo Medievale del Castello, exhibiting medieval ceramics and coins. In town, built on the ruins of a Roman temple, is Salerno Cathedral. It has Byzantine bronze doors, a baroque crypt and a marble altar. The terraced Minerva's Garden has been growing medicinal plants since the 14th century.

Day 3 Trapani

Trapani is a city in western Sicily with a crescent-shaped coastline. At the western tip, offering views as far as the Aegadian Islands, is the 17th-century Torre di Ligny watchtower. It houses the Museo di Preistoria e del Mare, with archeological artifacts. North of the harbor, the Chiesa del Purgatorio church holds wooden sculptures that are paraded around the city during Easter's Processione dei Misteri.

Day 5 Catania Sicily

This plucky city on the Ionian sea is rich in folklore, history and beauty. The backdrop of Mount Etna, or what the locals call The Good Volcano, is a testament of Sicilian resilience. Originally a Greek colony, Catania has been destroyed and rebuilt several times over. Youll find the citys symbol, the elephant, on everything from buildings to souvenirs across town. A wonderful combination of the modern and ancient, Catanias citizens tap into the black lava from Etna to grow rich vineyards for unique wines you can enjoy during your Sicily cruise.

Arrival : 11:00 AM
Day 6 At Sea

Prominent ruins of the Sanctuary include the athletic quadrangles and the Temple of Zeus. The Archaeological Museum contains Archaic, Classical and Roman sculptures, including the famous Niki "Winged Victory."

Greece's capital and its largest city was born atop the Acropolis, where ancient warrior-kings once dwelled.
