Night Out At Chinatown
Spend an unforgettable evening and night out in the full swing of Singapore’s blooming Chinatown. This lively neighbourhood has definitely blossomed over time, especially taking into account it started off as the enclave Chinese immigrants made their home away from home. At night, Chinatown comes alive with light, fun and joie de vivre. The patterns, aromas and colours that mix and mingle in this part of town give its many shops and eateries an unparalleled personality, not to be found elsewhere in Singapore. Of course, Chinatown is not short on culture either. On this tour you will wander along the narrow lanes of the Night Market and test your bargaining skills against street vendors selling anything from souvenirs to leather goods. Enjoy a traditional dinner of the finest Chinese cuisine at a local restaurant before rambling off into the Night Market’s narrow lanes. Here, put your haggling skills to the test at any of the many picturesque stands. After that, the time has arrived for an exciting ride on a trishaw through Chinatown’s labyrinthine alleys towards Clarke Quay. Once there, hop off the trishaw and onto another unconventional form of transport: a bumboat. Cruise the Singapore River for a magnificent vantage point of the city’s night lights, restored shop houses, cosmopolitan skyscrapers and even its financial district, colonial buildings and the renowned Merlion statue. It will be a night to remember.
