Day 1. Sydney to Longreach

Discover the ease and luxury of Private Plane travel as you board your private BAE aircraft at Sydney Airport. Touch down briefly in Brisbane to collect fellow passengers before taking to the skies toward Longreach, the birthplace of the Australian aviation industry. As we descend, your captain will give you a sweeping bird’s eye view of the outback town set in a vast landscape. Upon arrival enjoy a tour of the Qantas Founders Museum. This afternoon discover Longreach further including a town tour, a scenic cruise along the Thomson River and an exploration of the vast, nature-rich floodplains that surround the town. As the sun goes down, enjoy drinks and nibbles at Sunset Bend, on the river, then return to town and enjoy a special outback-themed Welcome Dinner and entertainment. Day 2. Longreach

This morning set off for a visit to Camden Park, a working, family-owned cattle station. On a personalised tour, you’ll be welcomed to the family’s historic homestead, famously visited by the Queen and Prince Philip during their 1970 royal tour and you’ll also see the 100 year-old shearing shed. Afterwards, learn more about the history and heritage of the Outback during a visit to the world-famous Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame including lunch. Later this afternoon, set off for a special ‘paddock to plate’ sunset dinner at the historic Rosebank Homestead  This evening feel the powerful spirit of the Outback during Luminescent Longreach, a sound and light show held at the Qantas Founders Museum. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 3. Longreach, Winton, Mount Isa

This morning we’ll board our Private Plane for a short hop to the town of Winton. Here we’ll embark on a guided tour at the  Age Of Dinosaurs, a multi- award-winning eco centre where you’ll learn about the prehistoric creatures that once roamed this land. Also visit the Waltzing Matilda Centre, a unique complex that celebrates Australia’s most famous bush ballad before reboarding the plane and flying to the central Queensland town of Mount Isa, seeing the enormity of this mineral-rich landscape by air. Accommodation: Two nights, Mount Isa, premium hotel/motel Meals: Breakfast and Dinner

Day 4. Mount Isa

Enjoy a full day uncovering the wonders of Mt Isa. Accompanied by your local guide, this day of discovery will include a visit to the Mount Isa Mine where you’ll learn about the  subterranean riches including zinc, copper, lead and silver that have seen this region become home to the biggest underground network of mines in the world. You’ll also enjoy a visual overview of the town from the Mt Isa Lookout and later enjoy spectacular sunset drinks before dinner this evening at Lake Moondarra with the red ochre backdrop of Mount Isa’s ranges. Meals: Breakfast and Dinner

Day 5. Mount Isa, Thursday Island

Today you’ll get to experience a sight rarely seen by regular air travellers – the tip of Australia. Aboard your Private Plane, fly over the vast northern tropical region of Australia and see where the Cape York Peninsula meets the Torres Strait. Land at Horn Island and transfer by boat to Thursday Island. Upon arrival, discover the charming, laid-back ‘TI’  community and its history on a guided tour of the town and be welcomed to the tropics with a special dinner this evening. Accommodation: Thursday Island, premium hotel/motel Meals: Breakfast and Dinner

Day 6. Cape York, Cairns, Port Douglas

An early start this morning with a ferry transfer to the tip of mainland Australia. Explore the region’s remoteness and natural beauty on a walk to our continent’s most northerly point and enjoy lunch at a tropical resort. This afternoon board a charter boat back to Horn Island before boarding your Private Plane for a wonderfully scenic flight to Cairns along the Far North Queensland coast. Today’s special flight path will ensure everyone on board can enjoy a magical view of the Great Barrier Reef,  tropical islands, lush rainforest and crystal clear water from the air. Arrive in to Cairns in time for a sunset dinner, then transfer to Port Douglas and settle in to your luxury resort for a two night stay. Accommodation: Two nights, Oaks Port Douglas (or similar) Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 7. Port Douglas

Today is yours to enjoy in the beautiful tropical town of Port Douglas. Perhaps simply relax and unwind at the resort, stroll along the beautiful white sand beach or wander down the main street with its vibrant cafes, boutiques and galleries. You may prefer to explore the wonders of the region further by joining an Outer Reef cruise for a closer look at the Great Barrier Reef, learn about the region’s ecology on a visit the Port Douglas Habitat or venture to Cape Tribulation for a true rainforest experience. Meals: Breakfast

Day 8. Port Douglas, Hamilton Island

This morning we transfer back to Cairns to board our Private Plane for another incredibly scenic flight, this time to beautiful Hamilton Island. Upon landing, check-in to your resort hotel then spend the rest of the day at leisure, perhaps relaxing on a palm-fringed beach or lying by a sparkling swimming pool. This evening, enjoy a special Farewell Dinner, with drinks included. Accommodation: Hamilton Island, ReefView Hotel Meals: Breakfast and Dinner

Day 9. Hamilton Island to Sydney

Enjoy the morning at leisure on beautiful Hamilton Island. Perhaps take a dip in the pool or explore the resort’s lush tropical gardens. At midday your Private Plane is ready for you to board for your flight back to Sydney, via Brisbane. Meals: Breakfast
