Description

Departure Date: 7 October 2022

Known for its lush coastlines, scenic blue bays, and medieval architecture—Croatia is the ideal destination for our country intensive programs.

We debark in the romantic city of Venice before making your way to the Slovenian destination of Koper, where a late-night stay means you can ride the train to the capital city—and one of Europe’s greenest cities—Ljubljana.

Next, it’s on to the eclectic city of Zadar. A late stay here means you have plenty of time to visit the cascading waterfalls in Krka National Park and the man-made attractions of the Sea Organ. We then make our way through the narrow passage of the majestic fjords—our small ships make it so we can sail smoothly through.

The next stop is Split, Croatia, for another late-night. Nestled in the shadows of Mount Mosor, where the old world collides with modern life and makes up for Croatia’s second-largest city. During your visit, let intuition be your guide as you spend the day meandering through the cobblestone streets. Explore the pedestrian-friendly streets of Korcula—Surrounded by walls, towers, and gates, the medieval town spans out like a fishbone, with marble streets that branch off.

Then it’s on to a late-night stay in a city that doubles as a UNESCO World Heritage Site: Dubrovnik. Outstanding in every way, spend your time studying this magical city’s massive stone walls, winding streets, and charming squares dating back to the 7th century. We then voyage to Kotor, one of the best-preserved medieval towns in the Adriatic.

A relaxing day at sea lets you enjoy the onboard amenities of your luxury hotel at sea before arriving at our final destination, the ancient-meets-modern city of Athens.

Why Azamra?

The Night-and-Day Difference

What makes Azamara cruises different from the rest? It’s our focus on Destination Immersion® experiences, which lets you stay longer and experience more on every one of our voyages. This means you get to explore everything from nightlife in Stockholm and morning walks in the French Riviera to all-day adventures in Costa Rica’s rain forests. Because life isn’t on a 9 to 5 schedule, and neither are Azamara voyages.

You’ll also experience incredibly scenic waterways and prime docking locations—two great advantages of our boutique-style, award-winning ships. Here, you’ll find people who are genuinely friendly and happy to make you feel welcomed. And with a maximum of 702 guests, staff and crew can quickly learn your name, tastes, and preferences, too. Plus, you’ll enjoy lots of inclusive amenities that will leave money in your wallet and put a smile on your face.
